You are invited to continue on an adventure-based journey with us this semester! During the first semester, we focused on growth and developing our class to be a community. Students will cultivate communication skills acquired from the previous semester and apply them to various adventure-based activities this semester.  We will expand on previous activities, including portable low-ropes and group problem-solving challenges. Students will also be introduced to new activities such as Faux Snow Day Fun, Ninja Course, Camping Basics with Tye-Dye T-shirt Design, Disc Golf, Nature Scavenger Hunt, and Tether Ball in the Great Outdoors. We will also have an optional off-campus outing to a local Adventure Disc Golf Course! We will focus on the heart in leadership, social skills, and managing emotions. We reflect on experiences during a group process to understand the “WHY” behind the activity and “WHAT” we can learn from it.  All activities will be “challenge by choice” in which students will build confidence and set goals to work on throughout the semester.
